My Journey

Reflections By Shruti is a manifestation of the inherent talent and creative potential of Shruti Subramani.

Having enjoyed intricate drawing and embroidery as a child, she has discovered herself through the joy of art and various artforms - from mandalas and free hand creatives to traditional Madhubani and contemporary art on various mediums.

Indian Folk Art attracts Shruti immensely as she loves their colors, forms and symbols. The more she has learnt about their meanings and the deeper significance , the more she has felt connected to herself. She finds immense deeper value through painting everyday. It is her avenue to express openly and to invite abundance.

Shruti has has done a professional certification course from National Institute of Mithila Art to learn the nuances of the artform. Additionally, she has been learning the artform in depth from Master Artists.

Being the abundant spirit, Shruti chooses not want to be limited by a few art forms, and aspires to create something that is her very own. She is also a constant learner. To hone her skills methodically in modern painting techniques, she has pursued a mentored learning program at The Bombay Art Society, Mumbai, India. She is also a member of the Art Society of India.
